Science at Broadmere Primary School aims to stimulate children’s curiosity through inquiry-based learning. It is carefully planned to develop children’s knowledge of key scientific concepts and skills in a progressive manner.
Achieve:
We teach Science in a practical way which engages learner’s curiosity, fuelling learners to become autonomous in their own discoveries. All learning is underpinned by the secure concepts of knowledge, and the understanding of scientific vocabulary.
Aspire:
We aim for children to become critical thinkers and develop a deeper understanding of scientific concepts and processes. Therefore, be able to transfer these skills to the real word and consider the application of Science both today and in the future.
